Equestrian Team

Meet the La Donaira Lusitanos team, based in the Serranía de Ronda, southern Spain, recognized for its expertise in classical dressage, competition and natural horsemanship. Our professionals are dedicated to the individualized care and training of every horse, safeguarding its welfare and helping it reach its full potential.

MARÍA CULSAN PÉREZ & BERNAT BARRACHINA VAQUER - STABLE MANAGERS

Two riders united by a single passion; excellence in classical dressage. Between 2018 and 2024, they ran Heras Horses & Events, one of the leading equestrian centers in northern Spain, organizing national and international competitions and training riders who went on to compete at European Championships. Their students have won medals at the Spanish Championship and Cup, along with world champion and reserve champion titles in PRE horses.

Today, they lead the breeding program and the sport horse team at La Donaira Lusitanos, where horses such as Elvis LD, Optimus LD, Dario LD and Seneca LD have achieved outstanding results in national and international competition. Beyond the arena, María and Bernat are working to establish La Donaira Lusitanos as an internationally recognized name, with a growing presence in the United States through their collaborations in Wellington, Florida.
